Master Peace Bedroom-One Room Challenge Fall 2018-Week 2

Welcome to week 2!

Sketching the bedroom

Sketching the bedroom

I don’t have any pictures of progress to show because I am waiting for the all the orders to arrive, but I have some ideas from my sketchbook and render that I want to share with you (it is going to be crazy… you have been warned).

If you saw my post from last week, you might have noticed I incorporated a 3d panel on my mood board. I have been looking for the right moment to use 3d panels for months now, and what better way to try it out than in my own home!

These panels come in different designs and you can paint them. My head went crazy last week and I thought it would look so cool to use green paint on some of the triangles from the design.

This accent wall will be the focal point of the room and I am so excited to do it. The bed and the nightstands will also be displayed on this side and it will help break down the geometry.

On the opposite wall I intend to do a picture gallery and a reading spot. I am also going to use the green on half of the 3 walls and wrap it all together. For window treatments, I have these 3 consecutive windows and don’t really want a wall full of curtains so decided to try a cordless blackout shade. I am also considering some molding for the windows and walls.

I still have a few things left to decide on my design but I can’t wait to start and make this a stellar bedroom. Make sure to tune in next week to see the accent wall in full force.

Remember to follow me on Instagram @stellar.design.interiors and don’t forget to check out the 20 talented featured designers for this challenge and you can go to this link to follow other participants and cheer them on as well.

Be stellar,

Tina
